Join us for our "Dance Trial Sunday!!!"

Dance Trial Sunday is open to everyone aged 8 and above.

Each trial class will be 45 minutes long and you will learn elements of Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Break dancing, Locking, Popping and New School Hip Hop.

Join Sunshine Studios 2 week intensive Hip Hop Summer Dance Camp and learn from the industry’s top dance professionals who support stars like Pussycat Dolls, Girls Aloud, Pink, Kanye West, Gwen Stefani, George Michael just to name a few, so that you too can perform the latest Hip Hop choreography!

The Summer Dance Camp will challenge you in learning various Hip Hop, Street, Locking, Popping and Break Dancing moves in a friendly but professional environment.

The classes are open to students of all age groups with many of them travelling as far as from Australia, Russia, France and Asia and will consist of beginners, intermediate and advanced level groups so that you can learn at your own pace.

Prepare to be amazed with our international team of teachers who will include members of Dance2XS (the world famous American dance company that boasts names such as So You Think You Can Dance, Sisco Gomez) and Soul Mavericks (the UK Break Dancing Champions).

Upon completion of the Summer Dance Camp, you will be invited to audition to join the Sunshine Talent Agency! This is a tremendous opportunity to do some paid work for major players like the BBC and MTV.

This year’s camp will not only involve intense dancing and the possibility of taking lessons to improve your English but also an immensely fun time.

We have organised trips to other parts of the UK such as the Lake District and London where you will be seeing the famous Big Ben, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace!

We have also planned a day out to Alton Towers, one of the UK most popular theme parks

To wrap up the Summer Dance Camp, students will take part in an exhilarating dance showcase collaboration.

A seriously close competition!! All groups really pulled all the stops to get the judges attention however, there was a tie between Epic Rhythm and KB Rockers. The 2 groups battled it out with a final dance off and the audience decided by applause that Epic Rhythm should take the 3rd prize home.

RTB Media Carnival & BITC Performance

Dear Readers,

Relentless Entertainment / Activ-8 will be performing at the RTB Media Carnival and BITC at the International Convention Centre (ICC) from the 12th of February, 2009 to the 15th of February, 2009. Rehearsals for the performances will be during class times. Please make sure you are present at ALL classes as we have alot to do.

As you all may have heard, there is a dance competition some time during the RTB Media Carnival and BITC. Cityneon the event organiser has asked Smartz to come in as a guest judge to judge the dance competition. Relentless Entertainment's Activ-8 has also been invited to open and close the dance competition as guest performers. Which again is a great honor and will be great for publicity too!

So members another reason to work, train and polish.

Please be informed of the class schedules for February 2009:

Monday 5 pm - 6 pm & 6 pm - 7 pm
Tuesday 5 pm - 6 pm & 6 pm - 7 pm
Thursday 5 pm - 6 pm & 6 pm - 7 pm

Payments for classes will have to be made either at the beginning of the month or before the class (if paid by the hour) ALL students including Activ-8 members will have to pay for all classes attended even if rehearsals take place during class times.

FYI, Prices for classes have also changed, please read the following for updated prices:

$80 per month
$10 per hour
$15 per 2 hours (2 lessons in one day only)

Hi ALL!

A huge THANK YOU to all Activ-8 members who helped out with last sundays audition. To all those who turned up to audition THANK YOU for your support and for being good sports through the grueling 2 hours of dance. We are still analysing the videos and what we saw and still in the process of selecting the new members of Activ-8.

I'd have to say that there were some new faces in this audition from the last one we held a few months back and ofcourse there were a lot of new faces and new talents. Again to all WELL DONE!

All those who came for the audition will be sent an SMS soon.

For those who missed the audition but would still like to try out, do come down to Zunic Wellness's studio on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday 4pm - 6pm. Join Regular classes (you will have to pay) and we will watch your performance (your ability to pick up routines and you as a dancer).

ACTIV-8 DANCE AUDITIONS

Activ-8 dance group is looking for more talented dancers to join it's Activ-8 Main Group to train and perform in upcoming performances. Activ-8 has performed at a number of events (See relentless-entertainment.blogspot.com) and is rapidly growing as an established dance group and company.

We are looking for talents in all genres of dance: Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, Break Dancing, Gymnastics/Acrobatics, Locking and Popping.

Know you can move that body?

Do come down to Zunic Wellness on the 7th of December, 2008 at 12pm -3pm. All are advised to come early for registration.

Also please bring a photo of yourself and a CV of dance/drama performances or classes/courses attended if available.

Attire: comfortable dance wear, dance shoes/sneakers and an optimistic attitude! =)

WELL DONE on a GREAT Performance for the 15th November, 2008, DST's Roadshow!! both the performances were wicked i mean seriously wicked and we are all very proud of you! everyone was very impressed with our pieces and everyone loved it! we're taking everything to a whole new level! =)

Please be informed that Relentless Entertainment and Zunic Welness is organising 2(two) FREE Activ-8 Dance class Trials on:

12th November, 2008 - 4pm - 5pm
14th November, 2008 - 4pm - 5pm

Classes are open to kids 8 years old and above, teenagers and young adults. Do feel free to pop by and enjoy! =)

ACTIV-8 Dance and Drama Sunday School IS BACK!!!

Dear All,

Due to popular demand and a successful 1st term, Relentless Entertainment and Zunic Wellness are happy to announce that Term 2 of the Activ-8 Sunday School will begin on the 16th of November, 2008. Classes will run on Sundays from 10am to 12pm for 6 weeks. Term 2 of the Activ-8 Sunday School will end on the 21st of December, 2008. Activ-8 Sunday School will resume with Term 3 after the new year 2009.

A FREE Tryout open day is scheduled on the 9th of November 2008 from 10.30am to 3pm. ALL are welcome! Feel free to pop by to enjoy some complementary refreshments, balloons, lots of dance and drama games, activities and lots of FUN FUN FUN for kids 7 years and above. ALL FOR FREE!!
